Careers
Build websites that win customers, with a team that does things properly.
At WebCrafters we design, build, host and market websites and web apps for businesses across Canada. Project leads, designers, developers, SEO and ads specialists work together on every build. The team grows with the work, and we are always glad to hear from strong people.
- Remote in Canada, clients coast to coast
- Valid work permit, PR or citizenship required to apply
- Fixed-scope projects with written briefs
- Client data protected by confidentiality agreements and controlled access
Open roles
No open positions right now.
New roles are posted here as the team grows. Send your resume and we contact you first when a position opens that fits your experience.
Resumes are kept on file for 12 months, then deleted. We contact you when a role fits.
How we work
The habits that make the work good.
Clients get a written quote within one business day and a fixed price. That only works because the team behind it is organized.
Written briefs, fixed scope
Every project starts from a written quote with the pages, features and dates agreed. You know what done looks like before you start.
One project lead per build
A project lead owns each site from first message to launch, so you get one point of contact and decisions that stick.
Remote in Canada
We work from Vancouver on Pacific hours with clients from coast to coast. Reviews happen on screen shares and in the client portal.
A modern stack
WordPress and WooCommerce built on native blocks, Laravel and other frameworks for web apps, WebCrafters Cloud hosting with Plesk and Imunify360.
Quality before speed
Core Web Vitals, accessibility and SEO are checked before anything launches. Typical builds take 2 to 4 weeks because they are planned, not rushed.
Client work stays protected
Everyone on the team works under confidentiality agreements, with access to client sites and data limited to what their role needs.
Who we look for
People who like clear briefs and finished work.
WordPress and WooCommerce developers
Custom themes on native blocks, plugin development, store builds and integrations. Clean, fast, editable by the client.
Laravel and web app developers
Customer portals, dashboards, quoting tools and APIs. Comfortable with Laravel, Vue or React, and real deployments.
UI and UX designers
Figma prototypes for home and inner pages, design systems, mobile-first layouts that convert.
SEO specialists
Technical audits, on-page work, local search and Google Business Profile, with plain-English reporting.
Paid ads specialists
Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and social campaigns with proper conversion tracking.
Copywriters
Website copy and guides for Canadian businesses, written to be specific, plain and free of filler.
Before you apply
Three things every candidate needs.
We hire people who are already allowed to work in Canada and who can work on Canadian hours. Please check these before you send a resume, because applications that do not meet them cannot be considered.
Legally allowed to work in Canada
You hold a valid Canadian work permit, permanent residence or Canadian citizenship at the time you apply. We do not arrange work permits, and we confirm eligibility before any interview.
Based in Canada
Every role is remote, and it is remote within Canada. You live in Canada and work on Canadian hours, with overlap to Pacific time for reviews and client calls.
Ready to work with Canadian clients
Clear written and spoken English, since briefs, reviews and client messages are all in writing or on screen shares. French is welcome and useful for clients in Quebec and the Yukon.
Equal opportunity
Everyone is welcome here. Your skills matter.
WebCrafters is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and are committed to an inclusive, accessible hiring process. Hiring decisions are based on skills, qualifications and the requirements of the role, without discrimination on any ground protected by the British Columbia Human Rights Code.
