Email marketing
The customers you already have are the cheapest ones to win again. Email is how.
Email marketing that runs itself. Every enquiry, quote, booking and sale on your site can trigger the right email at the right time without anyone typing. A follow-up the day after a quote, a reminder before an appointment, a review request after the job, a nudge to customers who have gone quiet. We set the automations up, write the emails with you, keep you on the right side of Canadian anti-spam law, and report what each one brought back. Need CRM updates, lead scoring or SMS as well? Since 2021 serving Canadian businesses
Vancouver based, working across Canada
CASL compliant consent built into every list
What you get
Everything included in an email marketing setup.
Email is the one channel you own outright. Nobody can change an algorithm and take your list away. This is what a setup covers.
A plan built on your customer journey
We map what happens from first enquiry to repeat customer, then decide which moments deserve an email and which do not. Fewer, well-timed emails beat a weekly blast.
List built and cleaned the legal way
Existing contacts imported with their consent record, sign-up forms added to the site, and old or bounced addresses removed so you are not paying to email nobody.
Automations that run themselves
Welcome series, quote follow-up, appointment reminders, review requests, win-back for quiet customers, and abandoned-cart recovery for stores. Set once, running every day.
Connected to your forms, bookings and store
Your website forms, booking system, WooCommerce or Shopify store and CRM feed the list automatically, so nobody has to export a spreadsheet on Friday afternoon.
Emails written and designed with you
Short, plain, in your voice, in a branded template that looks right on a phone. You approve every automated email once and every newsletter before it goes.
Newsletters, if you want them
A monthly or fortnightly email with real news, offers and useful tips, drafted by us from a five-minute call with you and sent on a schedule you can keep.
Canadian anti-spam law handled
Consent recorded for every contact, a working unsubscribe in every email, your business identified properly, and nothing sent to people who did not agree to hear from you.
Reporting on replies and revenue
Not just opens and clicks. You see which emails led to bookings, accepted quotes and orders, tracked through to your site, on one page a month.
Your list is yours
The email platform account, the list, the templates and the automations are set up under your name. If you ever leave, you export everything and keep going.
Not sure which emails are worth sending?
Tell Ella who is on your list. Ella will outline the automations worth setting up first.
Six quick questions about your customers, your list and what you can keep up with. You get a plain-words outline of the automations, the newsletter rhythm and the consent you need, and a project lead can turn it into a written plan. Two minutes, no jargon, no obligation.
Ella is automated and can make mistakes. Your written quote from a project lead is the final word.
How it works
From a list in a spreadsheet to emails that run themselves.
The first automations are usually live within about two weeks. Newsletters and further automations are added month by month, and each one is reported on its own.
01
Your request and a written plan
You send us the details about your customers, your list and what happens after someone enquires or buys. You get a plan naming the automations, the tools and a fixed price for the setup.
Day 1 to 2
02
List, consent and template
Contacts imported with their consent record, sign-up forms on the site, the platform connected to your forms, bookings or store, and a branded template you approve.
Week 1
03
Write and build the automations
Each automation is written with you, built, and tested end to end with real test contacts before it is switched on. You approve every email once.
Week 1 to 2
04
Switch on, measure, add the next one
Automations go live, the first newsletter goes out if you want one, and a month later you see what each email brought back. Then we add the next automation on the list.
Week 2 and on
Sound familiar?
Five things that cost you customers, and the email that fixes each one.
None of these need a newsletter. Each is one automated email, written once, triggered by something the customer already did.
The challenge
Quotes go out and go quiet
You send a quote, hear nothing, and mean to follow up but the week gets away from you. The customer books someone who did.
How we help
Quote follow-up sequence
A thank-you the moment the quote is sent, a friendly check-in two days later if there is no reply, one last nudge a week on, then it stops. Written in your voice, sent from your address.
The challenge
No-shows and last-minute cancellations
A booked slot that nobody turns up for is time you cannot sell twice, and someone has to phone around to remind people.
How we help
Appointment reminders
A confirmation when they book and a reminder the day before with the time, the address and a one-tap way to reschedule, pulled straight from your calendar.
The challenge
Happy customers, hardly any reviews
People say thank you in person and never write it down. Meanwhile the one unhappy customer always finds the review button.
How we help
Review request after the job
The day after the work is done, a short thank-you with one link to your Google reviews. Timed while the good feeling is fresh, sent only to completed jobs.
The challenge
Past customers forget you exist
They were happy last year. This year they searched Google and hired whoever came up first, because nothing reminded them of you.
How we help
Win-back and seasonal check-ins
A note at the interval that suits your trade, six months for a clinic, a year for a furnace, spring for a landscaper, to customers who have gone quiet, with an easy way to book.
The challenge
Carts and enquiries abandoned halfway
Someone adds to cart or starts a form, gets interrupted, and never comes back. You never knew they were there.
How we help
Abandoned cart and enquiry recovery
A reminder an hour later with what they left behind and one button to pick up where they stopped, for stores on WooCommerce or Shopify and for longer quote forms.
What it costs
A fixed price for the setup. Optional monthly after that.
We do not publish one price because two automations for a clinic and a full welcome, cart and win-back set for a store are different jobs. What we do promise is a written plan with a fixed price for the setup, and it does not change unless you add to the plan.
What moves the price
How many automations, how many systems have to be connected, whether an existing list needs cleaning and consent sorted, and whether you want newsletters written for you each month.
Platform cost kept separate
The email platform bills you directly, usually by list size, and we recommend the one that fits your size and your store or CRM. Many businesses start on a free tier.
No open-rate promises
Nobody can promise an open rate or a revenue figure, and buying a list is illegal in Canada. We promise the work in the plan, honest reporting on what each email led to, and the option to stop with notice.
Questions
What owners ask about email marketing.
If yours is not here, the full list is one click away, or just pick up the phone.
Still have a question?
Call us on a weekday, or send a note and we will get back to you within one business day.
Is it legal to email my past customers in Canada?
Yes, it is usually legal to email your past customers in Canada, within limits. Canada’s anti-spam law lets you email people who bought from you or enquired recently, for a set period, and anyone who has clearly opted in. What you cannot do is email a bought list or people who never dealt with you. We sort each contact into the right category on import, add a proper sign-up path, and keep the consent records so you are covered.
Which email marketing platform will you use?
We use the email marketing platform that fits your size and connects to what you already run. For most small businesses that means Mailchimp, Brevo or MailerLite; for online stores it is often Klaviyo; if you have a CRM such as HubSpot, we build inside it. The account is opened in your name, and you can take it with you.
Will my customers find marketing emails annoying?
Customers do not find marketing emails annoying when the emails are useful and timed to something they did. A reminder before an appointment, a follow-up after a quote and a thank-you after a job are welcome. A weekly promotion to everyone is not. We build around moments, keep newsletters short and infrequent, and watch unsubscribes as closely as opens.
Can email marketing connect to my booking system or online store?
Usually, yes, email marketing can connect to your booking system or store. WooCommerce, Shopify, most booking tools, Gravity Forms and common CRMs connect directly or through Zapier or Make. Connections are confirmed before anything is quoted, and if one of your tools cannot be connected we say so and suggest the simplest workaround.
