Objectives

What LeanTask BOOST needed from this web app project, and what we built for it.

  1. The goal

Start prospective clients with an online readiness assessment

    What we built

An assessment on the public site that produces a report from the answers.

  2. The goal

Give subscribers a private place to log in

    What we built

Subscriber accounts with a login to a private portal.

  3. The goal

Let the firm manage client accounts itself

    What we built

Client accounts the LeanTask team creates, updates and closes from its own admin, with no developer involved.

  4. The goal

Explain the BOOST program to people who have not heard of it

    What we built

A public site covering the philosophy, the approach and the services.

Prototyping

LeanTask BOOST, page by page, before colour and photos.

The home page and the main inner pages as greyscale wireframes, for desktop and for phones. With colour and photography taken out, what is left is the structure: where the navigation, headings, images and calls to action sit on each page.

Colour and style

The look of LeanTask BOOST.

Navy and blue with a photography-led hero and one clean sans-serif throughout, so the public site and the portal feel like the same product.

Content

What the site says, and where.

The public site explains the philosophy and the approach, and every page points to the readiness assessment. The portal sits behind the BOOST login.

The build

How the LeanTask BOOST website was built.

LeanTask needed more than a brochure site: a public site that explains the BOOST program, and an application behind it for assessments and subscribers.

  • Public website

A site that explains the BOOST program, the philosophy and the approach, and points every visitor to the assessment.

  • Readiness assessment

An online assessment that prospective clients complete, with a report generated from the answers.

  • Subscriber portal

A private portal that subscribers log in to.

  • Client accounts

Accounts the LeanTask team creates and manages, each with its own login to the portal and its assessment reports.

  • Hosted on WebCrafters Cloud

The public site and the application are both hosted and looked after by WebCrafters, on North American servers with Redis caching, an edge CDN, WAF and DDoS protection, daily off-site backups and uptime monitoring.
